Classical Pilates/ Fundamentals Reformer/Pilates Fundamentals
Pilates Fundamentals is a great place to begin if you are new to Pilates, and for those who desire a relaxing pace with thorough explanations of each movement. Classical Pilates stays true to the original exercises - the way Joseph Pilates intended them to be taught! Those who have been attending classes for years will continue to benefit from the precision, care and attention offered in these classes, while gaining strength, improving flexibility and postural awareness. All exercises can be modified or made more challenging to meet your individual goals.
All Levels Reformer
Tailored for all abilities and body types, this session is a good “maintenance “ class, continuing to work on gaining and maintaining strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, correct posture/ alignment and building a strong core. All levels are welcome in this class, focused on building strength in the Classical Reformer Series. Expect to see exercises mixed in from the Basic and Intermediate systems all modified to your individual practice and level. The goal of this class is progression over perfection, and we stay close to the original system as a means to feel that progress over time. Additional emphasis will be put on correct posture, articulation, and breathing during each exercise to maximize the full-body benefits of the Pilates system.
Potpourri Pilates - All Levels
This class is specifically designed for those who are still new to Pilates, developing their pilates skillset and open to learning how to use ALL the apparatus slowly and safely. This class is targeted for those with preexisting injuries and who want to have fun while building strength and getting toned! The class sequences and exercises will shift based on who is signed up that day, but is intended to build upon repertoire learned from one session, leading into the next session. Participants can sign up for 1x/week, 2x/week or 3x/week.
